The Laureates of the first edition of the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards were announced at the Annual Global Meeting of the Women’s Forum in Deauville, France on October 12, 2007.

Selected by the international Jury among 14 projects who reached the Finals, the Laureates, one from each continent, are start-up phase entrepreneurs leading businesses that are creative, sustainable and with a positive social impact. Each of them received 20 000 USD, personalized coaching support, networking opportunities and media visibility.
