Angela has been promoting CSR, CSV, ESG, sustainability, and integrity with her hybrid careers in public, private, and nonprofit sectors for 30 years.

Angela Joo-Hyun Kang is the Founder and Executive President of the Global Competitiveness Empowerment Forum (GCEF). She has been promoting CSR, CSV, ESG, sustainability, and integrity with her hybrid careers in public, private, and nonprofit sectors for 30 years and a Mid-Career Master’s degree of Public Administration (MCMPA) from Harvard Kennedy School. She has been a Business 20 (B20) taskforce member during Chinese, German, Argentine, Saudi Arabian, Italian, and Indonesian G20 presidencies and an Anti-Bribery Policy Group member of Business at OECD currently. For women’s economic empowerment, Ms. Kang is a member of Women in Business Action Council (WIBAC) of 2022 B20 Indonesia and has been participating in Women 20 (W20), the official policy engagement group of G20 for gender equality, since 2017. She was the elected Chair of the Digital Inclusion Working Group of 2020 W20 Saudi Arabia and has been Co-Head of the South Korean delegation from 2020. Previously, she was an Asia Pacific jury member of Cartier Women's Initiative and a mentor for a female youth mentoring program appointed by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family of South Korea. Currently, she is the Seoul Chapter Lead of Harvard Kennedy School Women's Network (HKSWN) covering South Korea and a member of the Private Sector Advisor Group (PSAG) of the Fair Biz Project at UNDP Bangkok Regional Hub advising its Diversity & Inclusion Platform on gender equality.
