Buks Akinseye
Buks is the Group Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Manager at INGKA (IKEA Retail). He dedicates his career to using the power of business as a force for good, to create socio-economic prosperity for the many, not the few.
Buks Akinseye's career spans over 15 years working in the private and public sectors at the intersection of business, public policy, sustainability, and inclusion. He joined Ingka Group’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion team in 2021 and leads how Ingka uses its vision, ambition and investments to create a more fair, equal, and inclusive society
Prior to joining Ingka, Buks worked for Unilever for over a decade in various global and regional roles in Corporate Communications, Sustainability and Diversity & Inclusion. He is passionate about intrapreneurship and creating innovative business models to accelerate socio-economic inclusion for underrepresented and marginalized groups.
Buks was born in Lagos, Nigeria and currently lives in the Netherlands.
