Kathy Ku is an entrepreneur and physician turned digital health investor. She is passionate about health equity and international development.

Dr. Kathy Ku is an investor at Vive Collective, a digital health investment platform based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to joining the investing world, she was the co-founder of two social enterprises: SPOUTS of Water is a manufacturer of ceramic water filters and provider of clean drinking water in Uganda; Dr. Noah is the largest producer of bamboo toothbrushes in South Korea. She also spent time at McKinsey & Co. and the Boston Consulting Group when she wasn't tinkering and building things with her hands.

She completed her MD/MBA at Stanford University where she was a Paul and Daisy Soros Fellow for New Americans and the Operations Manager at the Arbor Free Clinics. She also received her AB/MS at Harvard University in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Engineering Sciences. She has over 20+ peer reviewed publications in various medical subspecialties with a strong focus on outcomes research, cost-effectiveness analysis and the intersection of healthcare and business.

Outside of work, you can find her running after her toddler and spending time with her family.
