Maya Chandrasekaran is an entrepreneur, investor and connector. She has focused consistently on companies that "do good by doing well", while enabling women in leadership positions to grow and thrive.

Maya Chandrasekaran is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Green Artha Innovation - a climate innovation and investment firm. Maya has deep experience scaling companies that change lives, both as an investor and in practice.

As one of the founding members of Menterra Venture Advisors, she built the Education and Skilling investment practice. Maya was also part of the founding leadership that scaled Babajob.com into India’s largest tech-enabled livelihoods platform for informal sector job seekers. Babajob was a front-runner in the Indian Social Enterprise ecosystem and over 7 years was successful in securing meaningful work for over 10 million people. She is a mentor TechStars India, Sangam FLCTD and with several startups and impact groups.

Another area of passion for Maya is connecting people and faciliating networks. Maya is the co-founder of the Climate Capital Network, India's largest network for capital allocators across climate. She also co-founded and continues to actively run the 300+ member Women in Investing (WII) network. WII is India's largest network for women capital allocators and fund managers and over the course of 6 years has released seminal reports about the state of gender diversity in investment teams -- What Women Investors Want -- upskilled through masterclasses, enabled career progression through mentoring programs and facilitated 100s of connections.

In addition to her work as an investor, entrepreneur and network faciliator, Maya writes in her free time. Her most recent book (written for tweens) showcases pioneering women in the Indian Armed Forces and their journeys to becoming the first women in their branch of service.
