The 2011 Laureates
The six Laureates of the 2011 Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards were announced tonight at the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society in Deauville. Selected among over 1,000 candidates, each presented businesses that demonstrate exceptional creativity, financial sustainability and social impact. They win the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards trophy, one year of personalised coaching and US$20,000 of funding. +

The 2011 finalists were announced on July, 4th 2011. The six Laureates, each representing a geographical region, will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on the evening of October 14, 2011, at the Annual Global Meeting of the Women’s Forum in Deauville, France.+

Spend some time on the business model question, it's a tricky one for start-ups. Questions to ask yourself are: how you will bring your product or service to the market? What partnerships have you planned or already set up? The business model section describes all necessary elements that enable the venture to physically deliver the customer value.

Go straight to the point and try to focus on the added value your business will bring - you don't have to explain everything about your product or service in the "product and service" question. Other questions will enable you to say more about your distribution and business model.
