To apply for the 2009 Cartier Women's Initiative Awards, candidates must complete the online application form before February 13, 2009. Women from all countries and nationalities may apply.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Your project must be:
- A for-profit business
- A completely new concept as opposed to a buy-back or a franchise
- In the initial phase: the project has not been launched yet or is no older than three years
- The main leadership position must be filled by a woman. She should have a good command of English
- All entrants must be aged 18 or the age of legal majority in their respective countries or states of citizenship.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Step 1 - Read and prepare the questions asked in the application form.
Step 2 - Read our data protection statement and the rules of participation, then create your personal account.
Step 3 - Complete the form with the answers you have prepared.
You can edit your form at any time before February 13, 2009, 11.59 pm (timezone GMT+1). Your application for the Cartier Women's Initiative Awards is the last version saved in our database before the submission deadline.

- The application form cannot be downloaded, it must be completed while you are connected online. We therefore recommend that you read the application form questions first and prepare the answers separately.

- The information you enter can be saved at any time while working on the application form. Once saved, you can disconnect from the webpage and choose to go back later. You have the possibility of editing your form and adding information until the application deadline of February 13, 2009 at 11.59 pm, timezone GMT + 1, even after clicking on the final SAVE ALL button on the last page of the form. The SAVE ALL button enables you to save the information entered.
- You will not be able to access your account and application form after the deadline.
- You do not send the application to us > the form that we will take into account is the last saved version on our database.
- You will not receive a confirmation email after applying. However, we will contact you by email with the 2009 results of the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards.
