The Founders

The Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards are a joint partnership project initiated by Cartier, the Women’s Forum, McKinsey & Company and INSEAD business school. Each partner brings its expertise to the initiative: Cartier plays a leading role in the organisation of the competition and provides coaching and funding for the projects. The Women’s Forum provides important visibility and networking opportunities for the finalists. McKinsey & Company and INSEAD pre-select the projects and coach the finalists.

Founded in 2005 by Aude Zieseniss de Thuin, the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society is an independent global forum of feminine inspiration, recognised among the top five global forums worldwide and dedicated to building and implementing a more balanced world for all. The Forum is a platform for debate, sharing, brainstorming and action, where women are given pride of place to speak out on all the major societal issues that count now and will count tomorrow. 2010 will be a year of reinforced international visibility around a program that draws on a global vision and is rooted in key concerns that cannot be ignored. These messages will be addressed at the Forum’s closing on October 16, 2010. In September 2009, Publicis Groupe acquired a majority stake in the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society. ›› www.womens-forum.com
