Dr Anino Emuwa is the founder and managing director of Avandis Consulting, an  international management consultancy firm in France. Her firm provides strategy and advisory services to entrepreneurs and business leaders helping them to improve the performance of their organisations. Dr Emuwa, a former corporate banker with Citibank, believes that an innovation-driven private sector with inclusive leadership is essential to economic and social development.

Anino is a highly sought-after international speaker on entrepreneurship, fintech innovation and gender diversity in leadership, and has spoken at conferences and institutions including Facebook, French National Assembly, University of Cambridge, London School of Economics, ING Belgium, Money X at Web Summit and TechPark Conference Davos.

An advocate for women’s business leadership, Dr Emuwa convenes several international  networking communities including Women @ Davos, Women @ UNGA, and the Africa Women CEOs Network. Avandis Consulting hosted the first International Women Business Leaders Networking Reception in Davos alongside the World Economic Forum in January 2020.

Dr Emuwa is the recipient of several awards including the Women in Fintech Award from TechPark Davos and the Outstanding Alumni Award from Nottingham Trent University. She has been featured and her writing published in international publications such as Business Chief Middle East and Africa, Forbes and Entrepreneur. An experienced non-executive director, Anino sits on the board of several companies, and is a Grant Advisory Committee member of the Sustainable and Digital Financial Services initiative supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation 

Dr Emuwa obtained her Doctorate in Business Administration from Nottingham Business School where she is an alumni fellow. She also holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, a BSc Economics from the London School of Economics and is undertaking a Masters in Entrepreneurship at Cambridge.  Anino is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a member of the Institute of Directors.  She has lived and worked in six countries in Europe and Africa, and is bilingual in English and French.
