Sherin is an SMEs development consultant with more than 20 years of experience. She started her career in the banking sector but always had passion and interest in human and organizational development.

Backed by that passion, she shifted careers and left the banking sector to join CID Consulting, a leading Egyptian consulting firm, at an early stage of her professional career, and led the development of operational excellence within the company. She was one of the leading consultants within the firm who initiated and worked on models of organizational development for public and private sector organizations. She led consulting assignments with government organizations, development agencies, private sector companies of different sizes including startups. 

Sherin acquired specific experience in different economic sectors including but not limited to tourism, real estate, software development and information technology, health and medical services, among others. Her consulting assignments focus on raising the capacities of locals SMEs to launch them into their next level of growth. In her capacity as an advisor and mentor, Sherin is a board member of Safe Kids Egypt, a 5-years old NGO that works on raising awareness against Child Abuse.

Sherin’s interest is to support and see organizations and individuals grow beyond their current capabilities. Her own personal journey from engineering to consulting and what lies in between of years in advisory and professional services provides a wealth of experience in the marketplace and in life. Within that arena, Sherin contributes her time and advice to entrepreneurs in Cairo.

Sherin is a graduate from the Faculty of Engineering majoring in Electronics & Communications Engineering. She obtained her MBA from the University of Durham in the UK. She is also a certified Emergenetics Associate. She attended courses on leadership and social entrepreneurship at George Town University and INSEAD.
