Sherin is an SMEs development consultant with more than 20 years of experience. She started her career in the banking sector, but always had a passion for human and organizational development.

Following this passion, Sherin left the banking sector early, shifting careers to join CID Consulting, a top Egyptian consulting firm, where she led the development of operational excellence. Within the firm, she was one of the leading consultants who initiated and worked on models of organizational development for public and private sector organizations. She ran consulting assignments with government organizations, development agencies and private sector companies of different sizes, including startups. 

Sherin acquired specific experience in different economic sectors, including but not limited to tourism, real estate, software development and information technology, and health and medical services, among others. Her consulting assignments focus on raising the capacities of locals SMEs to bring them to their next growth level.

In her capacity as an advisor and mentor, Sherin is a board member of Safe Kids Egypt, a 5-year old NGO raising awareness against child abuse.

Sherin’s interest is to support and see organizations and individuals grow beyond their current capabilities contributes her time and advice to entrepreneurs in Cairo. Her own personal journey, from engineering to consulting and with years of advisory and professional services, provides a wealth of experience in the marketplace and in life.

Sherin is a graduate of the Faculty of Engineering, majoring in Electronics & Communications Engineering. She obtained her MBA from the University of Durham in the U.K. She is also a certified Emergenetics Associate. She attended courses on leadership and social entrepreneurship at Georgetown University and INSEAD.
