Zahin is a business development professional and her work focuses on social innovation and entrepreneurship.

Zahin is currently the Social Innovation Programs Manager at Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea. She’s responsible for the design of an entrepreneurship sandbox that provides access to training, networks and funding for aspiring impact-driven entrepreneurs to get them from idea to a proof of concept. Sandboxes feature loose structures to support experimentation and connect entrepreneurs to social and business leaders. She has designed 5 global start-up boot camps with over 80 aspiring entrepreneurs from over 10 countries, engaging with 30 experts from industry. The program has provided $30,000 of seed funding to 5 student-led businesses, with two of them generating revenue within one year.

Zahin volunteers her time as a Techstars Startup Weekend Seoul organizer, a mentor for Seoul City’s Urban Innovation Challenge called Citypreneurs, and a recently nominated Royal Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) Fellow.

Zahin previously worked as the Partnerships Manager for the Youth for Asia Program at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), where she was responsible for managing relations with multi-stakeholders. During her time at the ADB, she spearheaded communications to establish a multi-million-dollar Education Trust Fund to provide financing for innovative education projects. Prior to that, Zahin served as the Head of Business Development at AIESEC in Vietnam, the national committee for the world’s largest youth-led organization with operations in 126 countries and territories.

Zahin is currently pursuing her MBA with a specialization in Korean and Asian Business Studies at Hanyang University. She is a recipient of the D.K.Kim Foundation scholarship. She completed her undergraduate education at Queen’s University, Canada majoring in Global Development Studies.
