Almost since birth Amparin had a pen in her hand and an uncontrollable drive to draw. Amparin believes that life is a huge catalogue of characters. Since the beginning of her creative search Amparin undertook hundreds of projects until about 10 years ago she managed to make her dream come true by creating Distroller.

It is impossible to speak of Amparin without speaking of Distroller. It all began with a game called "El Picudo", where the goal was to make fun of the political situation in Mexico at the time. Soon thereafter Amparin would create Dr. Chui who relieves all sorts of ailments of the soul through a line of therapeutic candies based on chamoy, a popular chili candy in Mexico. These products were so acidic that they could easily destroy the intestinal flora. Although they were never released they inspired the creation of the brand's name, Distroller.

The mission of Distroller is to create and give life to design by creating original products that aim to brighten the soul. Her designs lend themselves to cause laughter for one's own flaws, be it divorce to cellulite. Distroller destroys the conventionalism of design and in doing so has found a niche in the marketplace.
In addition Ms. Serrano was recently awarded with the Mexican Women's Entrepreneur of the Year Award, 2009.

Amparin holds a degree in Graphic Design from the University of Anahuac, Mexico City, Mexico.
