Caroline von Hirschberg

A female founder, impact investor, business leader, international citizen and mother, Caroline brings these multiple, complementary perspectives to her work empowering purpose-driven entrepreneurs and impact investors to build better businesses.

Spring is a leading catalyst in Canada for seed stage entrepreneurs and investors, and a practitioner of building a more inclusive, accessible and equitable ecosystem across the country. Spring also collaborates with partners worldwide, supporting them to build thriving impact entrepreneur and investing ecosystems, as well as enabling international entrepreneurs move and grow their businesses in Canada.

Prior to Spring, Caroline’s experience included building an internationally acclaimed social enterprise developing renewable energy solutions for off-grid households, working for UNICEF in Laos and growing CPG brands in the UK and Ireland. As such, she brings - to Spring and it’s global community - her deep understanding of the interplay between impact and profit at both a strategic and operational level, first hand knowledge of testing and iterating both product and business model, and how to build effective partnerships for maximum impact.
