Katerina is the General Director at the Skolkovo Forum that aims to draw attention to technology entrepreneurship, to scout for prospective technology startups and to develop the supporting ecosystem for technology innovation.

Ekaterina graduated from Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov with a degree in psychology and the Moscow Academy of Economics and Law with a degree in jurisprudence.

She started her career in international audit and consulting companies (“Big 4”). From 2005 to 2011, she headed the internal audit departments in large Russian industrial companies; in addition to audit projects, she managed projects in the field of efficiency improvement, business development strategies, and goal setting.

In 2011, she joined the Skolkovo Foundation in the position of Strategy Director. With her direct participation, the development strategy of the Skolkovo Innovation Center and the state subprogram “Creation and Development of the Skolkovo Innovation Center” were developed. Ekaterina was one of the developers of the accelerator idea and approach in Skolkovo. In 2014, she was honored by the Russian Government for her contribution to the development of technology entrepreneurship in the Russian Federation.

Since 2017, Ekaterina joined the Eurasian Women’s Council that is in charge of supporting different projects, programs and activities for women. The Eurasian Woman’s Council acts under support of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. Within her activities in the EAWC, Ekaterina leads the project “Women in digital Economy. The STEM-project”

Ekaterina began heading “Skolkovo Forum” in 2018 and is currently the Program Director and Curator of the biggest startups and investors’ events in Russia: Open Innovation Forum (20K+ attendees annually offline, 2M+ views online), Startup Village (15,000+  attendees annually offline, 1,5M+ views online) and Open Innovations Startup Tour – Russia’s biggest project to find companies with potentially game-changing innovations. She sees her main task as spreading the idea of technology entrepreneurship and innovation across the Russian Federation.

About the Skolkovo Foundation

The Skolkovo Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2010 that functions as the administrator of the Skolkovo Innovation Center. The goal of the Foundation is to support technological entrepreneurship in Russia and the commercialization of the results of research activities.
