Lamia Housni is the Managing Director of the Entrepreneur Academy and the P-Curiosity Lab at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, Morocco. She holds a degree in electromechanical engineering from the National School of Mines in Rabat, Morocco, and an Executive MBA from HEC, Paris.

As an electromechanical engineer and a creativity and innovation enthusiast, Lamia Housni has always been keen to bridge the worlds of science and business. After receiving her degree in electromechanical engineering from the National School of Mines in Rabat, Morocco, she started her career with OCP Group, a world leader on the phosphate market, where she still works today. Lamia Housni consolidated her business knowledge with an Executive MBA from HEC and has held several leadership positions within OCP.

Lamia Housni’s skills in people management and relational intelligence have helped her navigate different worlds with ease. She has held a number of positions, including:

• Industrial Maintenance Manager (2002-2005)

• Humain Capital Management - Lead Program (2005-2008)

• Control, Internal Audit and Risk Management Lead (2008-2015)

• Head of Strategic Projects Management (SPM) - Corporate (2015-2019)

In 2018, Lamia Housni joined Mohammed VI Polytechnic University to develop entrepreneurship and innovation programs in response to challenges on the African continent.
