Mette Laursen

CEO and Founder, LinKS

Mette Laursen is the CEO and Founder of LinKS, the leading educational network for top influencers in the Nordics. LinKS is based in Copenhagen BLOXHUB.

Mette believes that when working with visions and making sense of the future, people need to increase their peripheral vision. On LinKS programs everyone all sits on a school bench together to create a common language for the greater visions. Reaching out to connect.

Through education and design of strategies LinKS draws connecting lines from the politically elected ministers across the democratically elected government, state administration, presidents of the courts, top executives of private corporates, owner managed companies, and NGOs.

Representing the Wharton school in the Nordic countries and collaborating with other leading business schools in the world, Mette and her team design and deliver exclusive concepts, programs on Leadership, Governance, Strategy and Innovation. Hereby the team has the opportunity of developing professionals across borders, industries, disciplines, organizations and gender. LinKS fight for that diversity leading to a solid representation of top influential women.

As LinKS ranges far in network, so does Mette’s personal portfolio. She is educated in fine arts as well as in econometric modeling. Throughout her life she has been a global knowledge nomad and studies across the Nordics, in the UK and the US. She started her professional life in the Ministry of Finance, Denmark and has served as top executive in EY international consulting within the strategy field.

Mette now serves as professional chair for various organizations within private corporates, design, architecture, governmental and cultural.
