Mrs. Miriem Bensalah-Chaqroun was born on November 14th, 1962 in Casablanca, Morocco.

She holds an MBA in International and Finance Graduate of the University of Dallas and is an alumna of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris and University Paris IX – Dauphine, France.

She is the CEO of Les Eaux Minérales d'Oulmès S.A., a leading company listed on the Stock Exchange of Casablanca, specialised in water and bottling.

She is also the CEO of the Holmarcom Group, one of the five largest industrial, commercial and financial group of Morocco that belongs to her family, a board member of Bank Al Maghrib, the National Central and Reserve Bank of Morocco, and Chairperson of the Euro-Mediterranean Center of Mediation and Arbitration.

Mrs. Bensalah–Chaqroun is deeply involved in humanitarian private and public agencies as well as in numerous charitable associations.

She is married to Jamal Chaqroun, a well-known and respected member of the business community in Morocco, and is the mother of three children.

Additionally, she is an airplane pilot, a HD bike rider, a first-series golf player, and she won the famous car rallye Le Trophée des Gazelles in 1993.
