Tamara Ghandour has over a decade of experience in humanitarian and social impact work across the Middle East and Africa. In 2024, she founded RAMA Impact, an impact-first fund supporting women-owned social enterprises at the intersection of climate resilience and economic empowerment in underserved communities in the Middle East and Africa.

Tamara Ghandour’s journey began with a background in Business Management and Entrepreneurship, but her passion for service led her to the humanitarian field across the Middle East and Africa. She has spent more than ten years designing and leading high-impact programs in education, livelihoods, climate resilience, women’s empowerment, health, and psychosocial support, focusing on communities affected by conflict and displacement, particularly Syrian and Palestinian refugees.

Frustrated by the short-term nature of traditional aid models, Tamara turned her focus to social entrepreneurship as a more strategic and sustainable pathway to impact. Over seven years, she has launched and supported numerous initiatives, including the HerMeNow Accelerator, a regional program helping early-stage women-led social enterprises grow and thrive. In 2024, she founded RAMA Impact, providing financial and non-financial support to women-owned social enterprises in underserved communities across the Middle East and Africa, helping them scale and become impact-investor ready.

Beyond her entrepreneurial work, Tamara advises family offices and funders on strategically deploying capital to achieve long-term, inclusive, and systemic change. She is committed to building ecosystems that uplift women, enable dignity, and unlock inclusive economic growth.
