Weini Qiu is a serial entrepreneur and investor in healthcare, longevity, hardware, and deep tech. She co-founded Avinasi Labs, the first AI-native data layer for longevity research, and serves as Investment Director at Paramita VC, supporting startups that advance human health and scientific discovery.

Weini Qiu is an angel investor and Investment Director at Paramita VC — a thesis-driven venture firm focused on decentralized science and AI. She is also Co-Founder of Avinasi Labs, the first AI-native data layer for longevity. Avinasi leverages Web3 technology and decentralized, user-led experiments to help scientists overcome data accessibility bottlenecks in longevity research.

Previously, Weini founded Haalthy, a data-driven platform that enabled over 100,000 cancer patients to access new treatments up to fourteen months earlier, saving more than 300 million RMB in medical costs. She also advises an AI-driven drug discovery company that has achieved a sixteen-fold return over four years. Earlier in her career, she led a healthcare hardware incubator at the Greater Bay Area National Center of Technology Innovation and taught medical entrepreneurship at Fujita Health University in Japan.

Weini was recognized as a Cartier Women’s Initiative fellow in 2020 and holds an M.S. in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as dual B.S. degrees in Engineering and Natural Resources from the University of Connecticut. She invests in and works with startups building a future where people suffer less and have greater capacity to advance humanity.
