Noor Sweid

Prior to founding Global Ventures, Noor joined her family business, Depa, where she enabled the scaling of the business tenfold, executed four cross border acquisitions and led the region’s first IPO on the LSE and NASDAQ Dubai achieving a billion+ dollar valuation.

Noor also founded ZenYoga, the first yoga studio in MENA, which grew to become the region’s largest wellness chain before successfully exiting to a private equity firm. Noor started her career as a biotech strategy consultant at Accenture in the US.

Dina H. Sherif

Dina holds a Masters of Public Administration and Management from the Harvard Kennedy School, an MA in Economic Development Studies from the American University in Cairo, and a BA in Political Science and International Relations from the American University in Cairo.

Leila Baghdadi

Leila is an executive board member of the Central Bank of Tunisia since August 2019, a member of the Tunisian Council of Economic Analysis reporting to the Chief of Government since November 2017. Leila serves on numerous boards and committees, which include among others the Advisory Board member of the Economic Research Forum, a leading research and policy forum for the Middle East and North Africa region based in Cairo. She is an Associate Editor of the Middle East Development Journal.

Jenny Atout Ahlzen

Prior to co-founding Amam, Jenny worked as an Investment Principal at Silicon Badia, a leading alternative asset manager investing in companies developing the next generation of tech-enabled ventures. Jenny has also been part of the Executive Committee of BeyondCapital, an initiative that seeks to build the next generation of asset managers in Jordan.

Habib El/Al-Ass’aād stewards future as the instigator of Kₓ2™, a series of experimental endeavours in societal sustenance studies.

Noha Khater

Noha Khater is a University Professor and the only female retinal eye surgeon in Egypt. She acquired several degrees and PhDs in the United Kingdom, the United States and Egypt. Her field of expertise is retinal surgery, with special emphasis on diabetic eye diseases.

Siroun is the cofounder and CEO of Kamkalima, a digital educational platform that empowers the Arabic classroom with the tools, resources, and support to raise a generation of students armed with 21st-century skills and who can think and write in Arabic, and use the language to create, collaborate, and solve problems.
