Cyrille Vigneron
Chairman, Cartier Culture and Philanthropy
Starting from September 1st, 2024, Cyrille Vigneron is taking on the new role of Chairman of Cartier Culture and Philanthropy, after successfully leading Cartier as President and Chief Executive Officer from January 1st, 2016, to 30th August 2024.
Prior to that tenure, Cyrille Vigneron was President of LVMH Japan (2014-2015) and worked for Richemont (1988 - 2013), where he held various positions including Managing Director of Cartier Europe (2005-2013), President of Richemont Japan (2002-2005) and Managing Director of Cartier Japan (1997-2002).
He started his career at Companie Générale des Eaux before joining Pechiney.
He is a graduate of ESCP Europe business school.
Born in 1961 in France, a father of four children, Cyrille Vigneron is a music lover and an admirer of Japanese culture translated in the writing and publication of a book, De geishas en mangas: Chroniques du Japon d'aujourd'hui (Editions Albin Michel, 2009).
